Calculator entries stay in your browser
Calculations run on your device. We do not send your clock times, breaks, pay rate, employee name, project, notes, or calculation results to a server. You do not need an account to use the tools.
Optional local storage
Choosing Save locally stores a copy of that tool’s report in this browser. It includes your entries, period, date, settings, pay rate, and any optional report details. Restore reads that browser copy. Delete saved copy removes it; Clear clears the current entries without deleting a previously saved copy.
Browser storage has no automatic expiration in this version. You can also remove it using your browser’s site-data controls. Avoid saving sensitive information on a shared device. Browser storage is not a cloud backup and may be lost when you clear browsing data.
Downloads and clipboard
CSV reports, printed PDFs, and feedback files are generated on your device. Copy actions write the requested result or feedback to your clipboard only when you click the relevant button. HoursCounter does not read your clipboard. Your own device and spreadsheet software control the copies you keep.
Feedback
The feedback form prepares text in your browser. Copying or downloading does not send it to us. Where an email contact is configured, the Open email link prepares a message in your email application; you decide whether to send it. Do not include private employee or payroll information in a feedback report.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
This version does not set tracking cookies and does not include third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Optional local saving uses local storage, not cookies. We will update this policy and any required choices before adding technologies that change these practices.
Hosting and external links
The online test version is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process ordinary request information, such as an IP address and browser headers, to deliver pages and maintain service. Calculator entries are processed in your browser. Links to legal references take you to separate websites with their own privacy policies.
Questions or deletion
Use Contact & feedback for privacy questions. We cannot retrieve or remotely delete reports saved only in your browser; use Delete saved copy or your browser’s site-data controls.
